- What are the beads made of?
- Plant materials ground to powder and blended with a few accords to a formula, then shaped into beads by hand and dried for at least twenty days. Each entry lists its materials in full.
- Is the ambergris real?
- No. The ambergris in Elegant Orchid & Ambergris is an accord, made to smell like ambergris. Our agarwood is an accord too. Nothing we use comes from a whale or any other animal.
- How long does the scent last?
- The scent is clearest when the bracelet is new and softens as it is worn, but it stays for more than five years. Stored in a closed box or pouch when you are not wearing it, away from sun and heat, it holds its scent longer.
- Can the bracelet get wet?
- Keep it dry. The beads are pressed powder, so take the bracelet off before washing your hands, bathing or swimming, and keep perfume and lotion away from it.
- Which bead size should I choose?
- The size is the diameter of each bead: 8, 10, 12 or 15 mm. Smaller beads sit close and quiet on the wrist; larger beads are bolder. Each entry shows the bracelet at every size, to scale.
- Where do you ship, and how long does it take?
- To the contiguous United States and to the European Union, except Cyprus and Malta. Orders leave within two days and arrive in 7 to 12 working days in the US, and in 3 to 15 working days in the EU depending on the country.
- Will I pay duties or taxes on delivery?
- No. Shipping is complimentary, and duties and taxes are included in the price: we pay import duties for the US and VAT for the EU before the parcel leaves. Nothing to pay at the door.
- Can I return it?
- Yes, within thirty days of delivery, unworn and in its original packaging. Write to help@meridianharmony.com and we will send instructions. In the EU you may also cancel within fourteen days for any reason.
