- Golden osmanthus, agarwood accord, sandalwood, benzoin.
- Method
- Powdered, blended and shaped into beads by hand.
- Origin
- Osmanthus, guihua 桂花. The eighth lunar month is named after it: guiyue 桂月, the osmanthus month.
- Note
- A Song-dynasty notebook explains its other name, muxi 木犀, “wood rhinoceros”: in Zhejiang, people said its grain looked like rhinoceros horn.
