A gift for someone who loves scent
Our bracelets are strung from scented beads of hexiang 合香, Chinese blended incense. Plant materials are ground to powder, blended to a formula, shaped into beads by hand and dried for at least twenty days. The scent is in the bead itself, so there is nothing to refill and nothing to burn, and it stays for more than five years. Each bracelet costs $80 to $95, or €80 to €95, depending on the bead size. Shipping is complimentary and duties and taxes are included, so nothing is due at the door. For delivery by 24 December, order by 4 December for the United States and by 15 December for France. Four scents
- Jasmine Snowfall · 茉莉吹雪香. Small-flowered jasmine over a thread of tea, with sandalwood and agarwood beneath. The lightest of the four, and the one to choose if you aren’t sure.
- Moonlit Osmanthus · 伴月木樨香. Sweet osmanthus first, then warm wood and the soft, vanilla-like resin of benzoin. For someone who likes a scent sweet and warm.
- Goose-Pear Canopy · 鵝梨帳中香. Crisp pear first, deepening into honeyed agarwood and creamy sandalwood. For someone who spends long hours reading or working.
- Elegant Orchid & Ambergris · 蘭芳龍涎香. Frankincense and agarwood, the green, rooty edge of chuanxiong, a little rose and a soft ambergris accord. The richest of the four, for someone who wears warm, resinous perfumes.
The agarwood and ambergris in our blends are accords, made to smell like them. Nothing in any of the four comes from a whale. Each entry lists its materials in full, in order of quantity.
Which bead size
The size is the diameter of each bead. Smaller beads sit close and quiet on the wrist; larger beads are bolder. Each entry shows the bracelet at every size, to scale.
- 8 mm: $80 (€80 in the EU)

When to order for Christmas
Orders leave within two working days. The dates below add the longest delivery time we give for each country, so that the parcel arrives by Thursday 24 December. Most parcels arrive sooner. December is the busiest month of the year for carriers, though, so these are estimates, not promises, and earlier is safer.

We ship to the contiguous United States and Washington, D.C., and to 25 countries of the European Union, all except Cyprus and Malta. The shipping page has the full list, and the places we can’t reach yet.
Sending it straight to them
Enter their address at checkout. Duties and taxes are paid before the parcel leaves, so nobody will ask them for money at the door. You receive the tracking link by email when the parcel leaves.
If it isn’t right
A bracelet can be returned within thirty days of delivery, unworn and in its original packaging. Write to help@meridianharmony.com and we will send instructions. In the European Union you may also cancel within fourteen days for any reason.
Looking after it
The beads are pressed powder, so keep the bracelet dry. Take it off before washing hands, bathing or swimming, and keep perfume and lotion away from it. Kept in a closed box or pouch when it isn’t worn, it holds its scent longer.
